 3D Printing

Image of a Creality 3D printer with a colorful filament storage compartment on top. Modern design for 3D printing.

How to use the 3D printer

Step 1: Create your 3d model using Tinkercad or Download a 3D model using Creality Cloud . Supported file types must be compatible with our Creality K2 Pro printer.

Step 2.  Submit your Design to staff via usb to be printed and select your colors based on availability. Please utilize creatlity studio to slice your 3d print and select the k2 pro printer. This will produce the gcode that we need to have on the usb drive to print.

Step 3. After a staff member loads the design into the creality program we will tell you the cost of the item to print.

Cost: Printing costs at the Library is $.05 per gram (of object’s weight).  Most Prints range from $1-$5.

(You must pay before staff starts the printing and there will be no refunds.)

Time: Printing time ranges ranges based on your project.  (Note: Prints longer than 6 hours may require Library Director approval.)
